The Catalina Hooser Scholarship Fund honors the legacy of Catalina Hooser, a passionate advocate for social justice, who tragically passed away a year after graduating in 2015. The GLOBAL Inclusive Program provides students with intellectual disabilities a pathway to higher education, opening doors to greater opportunities and independence. The program focuses on five key pillars: academics, emotional and physical wellness, social engagement, career development, and self-determination.

Aligned with the Jesuit values of inclusion and social justice, the program offers a chance for students to gain the skills and independence to lead meaningful lives. Support for the GLOBAL Program ensures that individuals with intellectual disabilities have access to a Jesuit education, transforming their futures and creating a more inclusive society.

Since 2019, Regis University’s Guatemala Interfaith Medical Service Program has been providing essential healthcare to Ciudad de la Esperanza, a community of marginalized Maya living off the local landfill outside of Coban, Guatemala founded by Padre Sergio Godoy. A volunteer group of 10 US health professionals mentor and educate 10-12 pre-professional healthcare students at Regis each academic year, traveling with the team to run clinic for a week in the spring. Support for this project helps supply pharmaceuticals, fund a local pediatrician and inspire young healthcare professionals to serve marginalized communities for life.

Victim Advocacy and Violence Prevention (VAVP) is dedicated to fostering student health, safety and awareness on campus. Through events like Consent Carnival, students learn about healthy relationships, boundary-setting and personal agency. Wellfest offers a day of care and support as students prepare for finals, focusing on stress relief and overall well-being.

VAVP also hopes to bring !Impact Playback Theater to campus, using storytelling to foster empathy and build deeper connections among students. By strengthening community bonds, VAVP creates a safer campus where students feel supported, empowered and connected.

VAVP will continue to raise awareness about substance use, participate in national awareness campaigns and provide educational programs that reduce the risk of violence. Your support helps ensure a safer, community-focused campus, where every student has access to the resources and care they need.

Support the future of healthcare by donating to the Health Professions Summer Experience at Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions. This immersive camp offers rising high school and college students hands-on learning in critical fields like pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, counseling and more. Funds raised will provide scholarships and programming to ensure accessibility for all students, regardless of financial background, helping to address the U.S. health care shortage. This program supports student and faculty research endeavors to inform best practices in healthcare, grow student research opportunities and provide students the opportunity to present their research findings at both local and national conferences.

Designing disability rights training for the ACLU, installing exhibits for Museo de las Americas, researching healthcare inequities at Anschutz Medical Campus, advocating for victims at the Jeffco Sheriff’s Office—these are just a few ways students are connecting their values with real-world impact. Through hands-on work, mentoring and networking, they are building skills and discovering their future careers.

Contributions will be shared across three funds: the Undergraduate Research, Inquiry, and Scholarly Engagement (URISE) Program, the Fr. Shelton Student Support Fund, and the Harry L. Taylor Fund for Student Research in Biology.

Support 25 rising sixth grade students this summer as they learn STEM skills through a hands-on bike program in partnership with Lucky to Ride. Students will gain valuable knowledge on bike repair, safety and riding while developing leadership, responsibility and perseverance skills. Support for Regis University’s Prison Education Program helps incarcerated individuals earn college credits and transform their lives. Through this program, incarcerated students take liberal arts courses with non-incarcerated peers, fostering empathy, respect and shared learning. These students earn 18 credits toward a degree and continue their education post-release through a special scholarship. Studies show that education significantly reduces recidivism, offering a powerful path to reentry and redemption. Your gift directly supports tuition for incarcerated students, giving them the tools to rebuild their lives and contribute to their communities.

Regis University athletes currently train without a dedicated track, limiting their speed and agility development. The SPEED ZONE will provide a state-of-the-art space for sprinting, plyometrics and injury prevention, benefiting all 12 varsity teams. It’s a game-changer, especially during winter months when outdoor training is impossible. The Dayton Memorial Library is excited to support the Regis Community Closet, a new initiative designed to provide Regis community members with access to casual clothing and small housewares. In collaboration with student groups, the project aims to promote sustainability, offer essential items and create a safe and private space for all individuals seeking clothing, regardless of identity. This student-led project is shaped by their active involvement in the design, organization and ongoing maintenance of the closet. Located on the first floor of the library, the closet is stocked with donations from both the Regis community and external sources.

RU First is a four-year program which helps those who are the first in their immediate family to attend a college or university to navigate the challenges of academia. The SEED Student Research on Sustainable Business empowers students to collaborate with faculty on impactful research addressing global challenges such as climate change, poverty and AI ethics. Your support provides funding and mentorship, giving students hands-on experience that enhances their academic success and career readiness. This transformative opportunity helps students develop the skills needed to tackle the world’s most pressing issues, while fostering meaningful connections with faculty. The Ignatian Spirituality Program Fund provides the vital financial resources to train spiritual directors who guide others through the life-changing Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius. Rooted in the centuries-old Jesuit tradition, spiritual direction is a powerful practice that accompanies individuals on their spiritual journeys. At Regis University, the ISP recruits, educates and supports spiritual directors while offering prayerful experiences in the Ignatian tradition. These dedicated directors generously share their time and expertise, but the program relies on the support of donors to continue this transformative work. Your gift ensures that this powerful, God-centered experience is accessible to all.

Two study abroad programs offer students immersive experiences in Rwanda and Uganda, and Córdoba, Spain, focusing on social justice, multiculturalism and cultural history. Students engage with local organizations, explore social issues and develop hands-on skills. The program includes field visits, academic coursework and homestays, enriching their personal and academic growth. However, the cost of tuition, flights and fees can be prohibitive. Fundraising efforts aim to provide scholarships for students, particularly those from low-income backgrounds, ensuring access to these life-changing opportunities and fostering global perspectives for all participants.
